Belgorod was just delivered on Friday by Russian defense industry – It is the largest submarine built in the last 30 years – It carries Poseidon torpedoes the size of a school bus armed with nuclear warheads

A super nuclear submarinewhich is classified as a superweapon, was added to his arsenal as of Friday Vladimir Putin. The Russian military industry has delivered the “super-ship” that may mark the “day of judgment”, as reported by international analysts. The Belgorod nuclear submarine is the largest built in the last 30 years and is equipped with torpedoes Poseidon 80 feet long (the size of a school bus) carrying 100 megaton nuclear warheads, capable of causing a massive radioactive tsunami and destroying entire cities!

The submarine Belgorod184 meters long and weighing 30,000 tons can hit large coastal cities with Poseidon torpedoes, “creating extensive areas of radioactive contamination, rendering them useless for military, economic or other activity for a long time,” according to a leaked Russian document translated by the BBC in 2015. And the range of this particular weapon is very long, which means it can hit targets from a significantly long distance.

The leader of the Russian Navy Nikolai Tevmenov said at the submarine’s handover ceremony yesterday (July 8) that it would be used for “research and scientific missions”, TASS news agency reported. “Belgorod submarine opens up new opportunities for Russia to conduct various researches and helps to conduct various scientific missions and rescue operations in remote areas of the World Ocean.”

Belogorod was built in Sevmash Shipyard in Severodvinsk, the largest shipbuilding enterprise in Russia, and was delivered yesterday to the headquarters of the Russian Navy’s Northern Fleet in Severodvinsk. The delivery to the Russian Navy comes a year after the first sea trials began.

“On July 8, 2022, a special ceremony was held at Sevmash Production Association (part of United Shipbuilding Corporation), Russia’s largest shipbuilding enterprise, to sign a certificate of acceptance/handover of the Belgorod research submarine to the Navy,” the Shipyard said in a statement reported by TASS.

In January this year, the Russian Navy said it would take delivery of the nuclear submarine on July 31which means it was delivered three weeks early.

As reported by Russian media, Belgorod will be under the leadership of the Navy, however, the final decisions on the missions will be made by Vladimir Putin himself.

The Belgorod submarine was spotted via satellite images on the surface of the White Sea along with the world’s second largest submarine, the Dmitry Donskoi on 26 June, according to defense analyst HI Sutton, who called the Belgorod a “doomsday submarine”. He said: “These submarines are huge, much bigger than anything in the West, even the US Navy’s Ohio class.”

The submarine could also contain drones designed for covert missions, such as destroying undersea telephone and internet cables, causing massive damage to Western economies.
