After the bulldog stayed in the greenhouse during the heat wave, the family was torn apart.

At just 21 months old, Teddy left his dog to his owner, Nicky Morton.

But the next day, he got a call saying, “Your dog is dead.”

Nicky, 49, said:

“When we got there that day, the greenhouse was boiling hot. It was 27 degrees Celsius outside,” he said.

Nicky dropped Teddy off at his home in Barry, South Wales, before spending two weeks on holiday in Jamaica later this year.

He states: It seemed really legit, and we found a nanny who sounds like a nice lady with a 5 star review, and everyone raves about her.

The next morning at 7:48 I got a call and asked where Teddy was sleeping and he said “greenhouse”.

Nicky said: “Why do you keep your dog in a glass box in extreme weather? I cried and had to hang up.

She said: “My dog ​​was dead on the floor and they threw a blanket at him. He was almost completely austere. The smell was terrible.”

This is a glass greenhouse without shutters. I stand by the idea that he is not suffering in the greenhouse.

“My house is empty and my heart is empty. Everyone in our town knew him. He couldn’t walk down the street without offending someone. He played tennis. I loved chasing the ball and running around the yard. He loved life and people . .

“The cats roamed the house looking for him because they were the best companions. He was a very important part of our lives. And he was a boy. At least he spent another 10 years on it.

A Rover spokeswoman said they were looking into it. They added: “We are removing sitters from the platform to prevent us from providing further pet sitting services through Rover.”

Gramorgan Council Veil said the nanny does not have a dog license and is being investigated by police.
