Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that responsibility for the implementation of the agreement on the export of Ukrainian grain rests with the United Nations.
“The whole world understands that Russia could engage in provocative actions, in attempts to undo Ukrainian and international efforts. But we trust the UN. Now it is his responsibility to guarantee that the agreement is respected,” Zelensky said in his daily address.
According to the Ukrainian president, the agreement fully serves the interests of the country. He even noted that the Ukrainian army will control “100% access to the ports”.

We are talking about jobs. Right now we have about $10 billion worth of grain,” Zelensky explained.
“There is a chance to reduce the severity of the food crisis caused by Russia and prevent a global catastrophe, a famine that would lead to political chaos in many countries of the world, especially those that help us,” he added.
“This is new proof that Ukraine is capable of resisting this war,” he concluded.
