The pool was allegedly created without the necessary permission, while investigations are underway into the incident.
Tragedy occurred in Israel when a huge hole 13 meters deep opened in a home pool and “swallowed” a 32-year-old man.
The incident took place at a corporate party held in a villa and the victim was an employee of the company.
Despite dramatic efforts to save the 32-year-old, they failed due to the depth of the hole. As the Guardian reports, the man and woman who organized the party are suspected of causing death by negligence, police said. They were arrested on Thursday night and the court decided to release them on Friday under house arrest for five days.
According to media reports, it took rescuers four hours to reach the victim, Kleel Kimi. A second man who fell into the hole managed not to be swept away and was eventually rescued with minor injuries.
At the party, according to reports, there were 50 people while at the time of the accident six were in the pool.
