Hundreds of people were evacuated after a fire broke out on the Greek island of Lesbos.
On Saturday morning, at least 50 firefighters headed to the town of Vatella, near Turkey, with volunteers.
Authorities ordered tourists and residents to flee as the fire was dangerously close due to strong winds.
“We are fighting to save our home,” Mayor Taxiarchis Veros told local media.
According to the police, 450 people from two hotels and 92 houses have left the area.
The police also visited the town looking for locals who refused to move.

More than five hours after the emergency message was sent to residents, the evacuation was still “in progress,” said Janis Altpoios, a spokeswoman for the fire department.
According to him, 17 fire trucks, 9 special fire trucks and 1 helicopter were mobilized at the scene.
The photo shows a burned house and a damaged beach bar and umbrella, but the smoke continues to billow.
A firefighter was also injured as a result of the Vatella fire.
Temperatures in the Balkans are steadily rising above 40°C, and we are concerned that such horrific events will become more common in the heat.
Wildfires are not uncommon, but authorities have said this summer was particularly difficult for emergency services and fires are now raging across northern, southern and eastern Greece.
In the north, firefighters and volunteers battle a rapidly spreading flame in the protected nature reserve of Dadia National Park.
Last year, a wildfire destroyed 121,000 hectares of forest during the worst heat wave in 30 years across Greece.
