Earlier, separatist forces in Nagorno-Karabakh had declared partial mobilization

Russia’s Defense Ministry said today that the situation in its disputed enclave is worsening Nagorno Karabakh and around it because of the clashes between the forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia.

Earlier, separatist forces in Nagorno-Karabakh had declared partial mobilization.

Nagorno-Karabakh, backed by Armenia, broke away from Azerbaijan after a bloody ethnic conflict in the early 1990s. In 2020, the Azerbaijan managed to recover part of the territories controlled by the separatists.

Under the terms of the cease-fire agreement, Russian peacekeepers were deployed to protect the area still held by the separatists.

THE Moscow accused Azerbaijani forces of violating the ceasefire, noting that Russian peacekeepers are seeking to stabilize the situation in the deregulated region.

In recent days of hostilities, Azerbaijani forces claim to have killed four separatist fighters and wounded fifteen others.
