He did mention that there was no attack and the base suffered no damage to military equipment, according to the statement cited by Russian news agencies.
“Several munitions intended for aviation exploded inside a warehouse located on the territory of the Saki military airfield, near the Novofedorivka region“, the ministry’s announcement clarifies, stressing that the warehouse was not the target of fire or bombing.
It is recalled that the annexation of the Ukrainian peninsula of Crimea to the Russian Federation took place in 2014.
