The gunman who was killed by law enforcement after he tried to storm the FBI offices in Ohio had posted a “call to arms” on Donald Trump’s social networking site Truth Social, US media reported today .

The account has since been pulled by Truth Social.

“I propose war,” adds the shooter, calling for “patriots” to go to Florida and kill FBI agents, the day after the search of former President Donald Trump’s residence, an unprecedented raid that is causing outrage in the Republican camp.

The attacker confesses that he tried to force his way into the FBI offices in Cincinnati. “I thought I could break the armored windows and I couldn’t,” he explains. “If you haven’t heard from me, it’s true that I tried to attack the FBI and that will mean I’ve been banned from the internet, caught by the FBI, or sent to the police…” he wrote in the message posted Thursday morning, according to with the media.

The FBI announced that a gunman had attempted to break into its offices in Cincinnati, Ohio, early Thursday morning.

According to local media, the man, who was wearing a bulletproof vest, used a handgun and was holding an AR-15-style semi-automatic weapon before fleeing in a car.

After a chase, the man fled into a corn field where he was surrounded by law enforcement. When they tried to arrest him, he pointed his gun at the officers, who opened fire and fatally wounded him.
