Speaking at the daily press briefing, spokesman Ned Price declined to say whether Washington knew who was behind the attack, but said there was no doubt the Russians would draw “some conclusions.”

The State Department spokesman said today that the United States strongly condemns the deliberate targeting of civilians anywhere when asked about the killing of Daria Dugina, the daughter of a Russian ultranationalist, in a car bomb attack near Moscow.

Speaking at the daily press briefing, spokesman Ned Price declined to say whether Washington knew who was behind the attack, but said there was no doubt the Russians would draw “some conclusions.”

Russia’s Federal Security Service blamed Ukraine’s secret services for Dugina’s murder. Ukraine, which is defending itself in what it calls an imperial-style war of conquest waged by Russia, has denied involvement in the attack.
