A police officer punched a woman in the face causing her to fall to the pavement. The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon in Harlem and has been captured on video.

Tamani Krum, 19, is seen approaching officers and arguing with officers who were handcuffing 22-year-old Elvin James, according to the New York Post.
One of the officers, identified as Kento Kinsei, initially pushes her away, she resists and he punches her in the face, knocking her down.
“Why did you do that,” “she’s just a little girl,” a bystander can be heard shouting as police handcuff the 19-year-old.
In a statement, the New York Police Department (NYPD) states that “while the police were proceeding to arrest several individuals, several officers were physically assaulted. A police officer was slightly injured in the head.”
The 19-year-old was charged with assaulting a police officer, resisting and obstructing the authorities. She was eventually arraigned in a Manhattan court on just one charge of misdemeanor obstruction of justice and released without bail.
