Ramza Kadyrov: The Chechen leader is leaving the war in Ukraine

He says he’s been in this position too long, that he’s grown up, and that he’s leaving “before he’s fired.”

The 45-year-old announced his intention to withdraw from the war in Ukraine Chechen leader Ramza Kadyrov.

In a video uploaded by himself, he says that he has been in this position for a long time, that he has grown up and that he is leaving “before he is fired” and that is why he will do a break indefinitely.

“I just learned that the oldest living in the ranks of the heads (of the republics of the Russian Federation). First of all, I have been leading the republic for 15 years already. We Caucasians, Chechens have a saying: No matter how much you appreciate and look forward to a guest, if he leaves on time, then it is even better. So I believe that my time is coming before I am kicked out from here. It turns out I’m quite old, I was the youngest and least experienced. I remain inexperienced and my youth is wasted”he says in the video.
