A man, believed to be in his 20s, was shot dead by police during a police chase in south London.
The London Metropolitan Police announced the death after previously saying it had launched its own investigation into an incident involving a firearms expert in Lambeth.
Officers stopped the “suspect vehicle” after “tactical contact” at 9:51 p.m. Monday.
One man sustained a gunshot wound when police opened fire at Kirkstall Gardens in Streatham Hill.
Officers on scene administered first aid before taking him to the hospital.

In accordance with protocol, the Professional Standards Service of the Metropolitan Police Service and the Independent Police Action Service were contacted.
With the assistance of the London Ambulance Service and Air Ambulances, no one else was injured in the incident.
There will be cordons and road closures during the investigation.
