President of Belarus accuses Ukraine of preparing strike against his country – Agreement with Putin

The formation of a joint military unit with Russia announced the president of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, according to Agence France-Presse. In fact, Lukashenko accuses Ukraine of preparing a coup against his country.

In particular, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko accused Ukraine of preparing an attack on Belarus and that, as a result, Minsk would deploy a joint military strike force of Russian and Belarusian troops, without specifying where this would take place.

“Due to the worsening of the situation on the western border of the (Russian-Belarusian) Union, we have agreed to deploy a regional force of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus,” Lukashenko said during a meeting with Belarusian security officials, according to the state Belarusian news agency Belta.

Lukashenko added that the two countries began to join forces two days ago, apparently after the explosion on the Russian bridge in Crimea.
