“From the E.U. instead of supporting unjust and illegal actions, we expect him to invite our interlocutors to a bilateral dialogue,” said the Turkish president
THE Mevlut Cavusoglu he referred over the weekend to Turkey’s interests “from Syria to Libya and from the Aegean and Cyprus to the Mediterranean.” As reported by SKAI’s correspondent in Istanbul, Manolis Kostidis, on Monday, the Recep Tayyip Erdogan he opened the “fan” even more, including in his grandiose plans… the whole world.
The Turkish president referred to the drilling rigs that his country has, revealing his plan:
“We once had no floating drilling rig. Now we have two seismic survey vessels, 5 floating drilling rigs and they can drill to a depth of 12,000 meters.
When our work is done here, we have the ability and strength to do these drilling operations in international waters in different countries of the world.”
In other words, Erdogan puts all countries and international waters in the frame of his ambitions, without specifying in which radius from Turkey intends to expand.
At the same time, referring to Synod of Prague he pointed out that “as we do in every meeting, we also emphasized in Prague that we wish to solve the problems of the Aegean and the Eastern Mediterranean within the framework of international law. From the E.E. we expect instead of supporting unjust and illegal actions to invite our interlocutors to bilateral dialogue.”
