British Prime Minister Liz Truss and French President Emmanuel Macron had a telephone conversation today in which they discussed the need to continue supporting Ukraine in its fight against Russian invaders, as well as deepening London-Paris cooperation.

According to a Downing Street spokesman, the two leaders “agreed that Britain and France will continue to work closely with allies to support Ukraine and coordinate the response to Russian aggression.”

“Prime Minister and President Macron also expressed their satisfaction with the opportunity recently given to them to meet at the Prague summit and look forward to further deepening bilateral cooperation,” he added.
