Giorgia Meloni appointed Italy’s first female prime minister – These are the new ministers

The full one list of ministers presented to her by Giorgia Meloni to the Italian president Mattarella. Meloni went at 5:30 in the afternoon to the presidential palace Kirinalio where she presented the list of ministers to the Italian president of the Republic in a meeting that lasted more than an hour.

Giorgia Meloni accepted “without reservation” the mandate to form the new government she received from the president of the Republic Sergio Mattarella.

Regarding the major ministriesas Meloni herself announced to reporters, the Foreign Antonio Taiani, of Forza Italia and former president of the European Parliament, takes over the ministry Finance Giancarlo Giorgetti from the League, the Interior former prefect Matteo Piadendozzi, while League secretary Matteo Salvini secured the ministry Infrastructure. At the same time, Guido Crosetto, from the party of Georgia Meloni, was chosen for the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry Justice former judge Carlo Nordio.
