All about Erdogan’s re-election: “City of peace” Diyarbakir, the capital of the Kurds

Determined to do everything, in order to secure his re-election, he appears Recep Tayyip Erdogan. To achieve this, the Turkish president estimates that he will even need the votes of the Kurds. Therefore, he did not hesitate to call the capital of the Kurds in Turkey, Diyarbakir, a “city of peace”, noting, however, that “imperialist forces” and “terrorist organizations” are trying to prevent him.

As reported by ERTErdogan announced that the notorious Diyarbakır prisons are being turned into a museum and their management has been transferred to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

“We missed Diyarbakir, as I can tell from your enthusiasm. They tried their best to stop us from hugging for a while. But they did not know that there are invisible paths from heart to heart. We said that we would give up the cooperation of our hearts. The color of Diyarbakir is not terror. Where are the human rights defenders for the Mothers of Diyarbakir? Why didn’t they visit them themselves even once?’Erdogan said and added:

“The dark days of Diyarbakır are gone. Their name is Kurds, they have nothing to do with Kurdish. We will not play their game. I believe my brothers from Diyarbakir will be asked to foot the bill for them. Diyarbakir is now the city of peace. But in the region of Iraq and Syria, peace must prevail. We are trying to realize an island of peace. By the permission of Allah, they will not be able to prevent it. We will not allow anyone to stand in the way of the climate of peace that we have made to dominate every corner of the land of our country, especially in Diyarbakir.”
