The Russian-US chiefs of staff had a telephone conversation on the issue – the first since last May – where they discussed the dangers of a radioactive bomb.

Afterwards, Reuters – citing RIA Novost – reported that the chiefs of the Russian-US joint staff discussed the dangers of the “dirty bomb” in Ukraine.

Ukraine said the charges against it were an indication that Moscow was planning a similar attack and would blame Kyiv. The official did not immediately provide further details about the conversation between US General Mark Milley and Russian General Valery Gerasimov.
