Italy: Neo-fascists place photo of Benito Mussolini on bridge near Colosseum

Next to the photo they placed a banner with the slogan “One hundred years later, the March continues”, referring to the centenary of the fascist march on Rome and Mussolini’s violent seizure of power.

Members of Italy’s neo-fascist organization Movimento Nazionale (“National Movement”) on Thursday night placed a photo depicting fascist dictator Benito Mussolini on a bridge not far from the Colosseum.

Next to the photo they placed a banner with the slogan “One hundred years later, the March continues”, referring to the centenary of the fascist march on Rome and Mussolini’s violent seizure of power.

Earlier, on the same bridge, anti-fascists had hung a photo of Mussolini upside down, accompanying it with the slogan “28 October 1922, we know the end”.
