Erdogan also turned against the EU, saying that it has had Turkey at its door for 52 years and is making it suffer
An incredible challenge from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who speaking from Samarkand, where he was for the 9th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States, announced that the pseudo-state joined the organization as an observer.
Speaking at the meeting ErdoÄŸan said: “According to the law of brotherhood, we have accepted the TRNC as an observer in our Organization (of Turkish-speaking countries). We showed to our brothers the Cypriots, who are an integral part of the Turkish world, that they are not alone, contributing at the same time to the resolution process. I want to thank each one of you, my esteemed brothers, for your solidarity.”
At the same time, as reported by the SKAI correspondent in Istanbul, Manolis KostidisErdogan also turned against the EU, saying that it has had Turkey at its door for 52 years and is making it suffer:
“As an observer member, I really thank my brother, Viktor Orban, for the bridge he created between Europe and the Turkish world. And as if coming from the same roots, he is fighting for democracy within the European Union and for this reason, I congratulate him. […] At the door of the EU we suffered for 52 years. They still do the same. We will give our answer when it is necessary and the time comes.”
