“At the moment, the flames are spreading to a great height and width, and we hope they will be tackled within the next two hours by the efforts of firefighting teams,” an official in the industrial city told the semi-official Tasnim news agency.
A fire broke out at a motor oil factory in the industrial city of Mobarakeh in central Iran’s Isfahan province, the semi-official Tasnim news agency reported today, raising concerns that the fire could spread inside the large industrial complex.
“At the moment, the flames are spreading to a great height and width, and we hope they will be tackled within the next two hours by the efforts of the firefighting teams,” an official of the industrial city told the quoted news agency.
The head of Isfahan’s crisis management agency told Tasnim that there are no casualties, while 20 rescue and firefighting teams have been deployed to the site of the fire to prevent further spread of the fire to other production units.
