After a missile fell this week near the border with Ukraine, Poland’s president warns that more could happen
Poland should to expect more consequences of Russia’s war in neighboring Ukraine, warned today Polish President Andrzej Duda after the incident of a missile falling this week near the border with Ukraine.
“Unfortunately, we have to be prepared in a sense accidents happen again on our borders as a result of the war,” Duda said in the eastern Polish city of Rzeszów.
He added that the Polish government will do everything possible to ensure that this does not happen, however it is impossible to protect the country from an incident like this week’s incident.
Military experts told the Polish president that no missile defense system could intercept such a missile over Poland, as there was insufficient reaction time, Duda said.
