The death of at least 437 children in Ukraine is the result of the Russian invasion of the country, as announced today by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
More than 837 children have also been injured in a tally that officials say is “not final” as they continue to verify information from battle zones, liberated areas and territory still held by Russian forces.

The United Nations has said at least 16,295 civilians have been killed since Russia’s invasion began on February 24, which Kyiv and Western leaders denounce as an unprovoked act of aggression. Moscow denies targeting civilians.
