“Alone, we cannot manage a migration flow which has now assumed unmanageable dimensions. Europe must urgently create a multilateral cooperation framework based on legal flows and an efficient action to prevent and deal with illegal flows. With a decisive point, which is the European, comprehensive management of repatriations”added the Italian prime minister.
“With over 94,000 arrivals since the beginning of the year Italy, along with other first entry countries, bears the brunt of protecting European borders against human trafficking in the Mediterranean» Meloni also pointed out.
