Erdogan struggles in polls, falling behind Mansour Yavas and Ekrem Imamoglu
Demographic difficulties are faced by Recep Tayyip Erdoganas his lionizations against Greece and the West more broadly, do not seem to convince the electorate in the final stretch for the Turkish presidential elections.
As reported by SKAI’s correspondent in Istanbul, Manolis Kostidis, Erdogan is facing difficulties in the polls, with a drop against Mansour Javas and his Ekrem Imamoglou.
Is indicative that the Turkish president in October was behind the mayor of Ankara Mansur Yavas by 2.8 percentage points, while in November he lost ground by 6.7 percentage points, while in October he was ahead of the mayor of Istanbul Ekrem Imamoglu by 2.5 percentage points, while in November is short by almost 1 unit. Erdogan appears to be on par only with the leader of the main Kemalist opposition (Republican People’s Party) Kemal Kilicdaroglu.
