In response to a question about whether something similar could be happening in Germany, the representative answered in the negative. “If you are implying that because there was a bribery issue in the European Parliament, there could be such an issue at the level of the German parliament, then my answer is no. That would surprise me greatly and otherwise it would not be a matter for the Federal Government, but for parliament and the relevant Prosecution Service,” Mr. Hebstreit clarified, while when asked about the Qatar visa issue, he noted: ” If I understood correctly the foreign minister today in Brussels, there are at least critical questions related to this issue.
