A Myanmar court ruled in favor of the ousted former Prime Minister Aung San Suu Kyi on December 27 by a military court in the wake of the February 1 coup. on the process.
The court was expected to announce today its verdicts in her trial for possession of unlicensed walkie-talkies and electronic interference devices; the charges against her carry prison sentences of three years and one year respectively.
According to a Reuters source, the court did not specify the reason for the postponement.
Already sentenced to two years in prison in early December, the former de facto head of the Myanmar government is facing the possibility of being sentenced to decades in prison for all the crimes against her by junta courts.
