The controversial former kick-boxing champion, who is currently being held in Romania as part of a human trafficking and rape investigation, claims he is now a “trillionaire”.
Elon Musk was apparently referring to speculation that perhaps 36-year-old Andrew Tate was caught by police hiding in Romania after he posted a video of himself holding a pizza box from a well-known chain in the country.
The 36-year-old influencer was arrested at his summer house in the town of Pipera, Voluntari, on the outskirts of Bucharest, along with his brother Tristan and two Romanians, on suspicion of rape, human trafficking and forming a criminal organization.
Tate, a former kickboxer, was banned from Twitter in 2017 for his misogynistic views and hate speech, but was reinstated last month.
Greta Thunberg also gave a “paid” response to the “toxic” influencer, Andrew Tate. The Swedish activist, who had been the target of Andrew Tate’s incendiary statements, was publicly placed on the occasion of his arrest in Romania.
In particular, the popular activist wrote on Twitter: “This is what happens when you don’t recycle the pizza box”, causing tens of thousands of comments and hundreds of thousands of retweets.
Andrew Tate clashed with climate activist Greta Thunberg on Twitter when he shared a photo of himself standing next to a Bugatti and saying he owns 33 cars.
Hello @GretaThunberg
I have 33 cars.
My Bugatti has a w16 8.0L quad turbo.
My TWO Ferrari 812 competizione have 6.5L v12s.
This is just the beginning.
Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions. pic.twitter.com/ehhOBDQyYU

On Friday, Musk also tweeted that Greta Thunberg was “cool” for taking on the internet provocateur.
Musk also tweeted an image from the movie “The Matrix,” which references a video of Tate: “What if I told you that the only way to escape the Matrix is to unlearn everything you’ve been taught and rebuild your entire belief system based on critical thinking and analysis,” Elon Musk wrote.
