A 82 year old Navy veteranwho works at a Walmart store, retired thanks to a customer.
That’s Warren Marion, a Navy veteran and widower who at age 82 was still working 8- and 9-hour shifts.
The 82-year-old man got lucky in his misfortune, when one of his customers, Mr Rory McCarthythought of a solution to help him.
McCarthy runs a disinfestation operationcalled Bug Boys, and managed to collect 300,000 followers on TikTok by showing videos of creepy incidents he encounters at work.
Rory uploaded a video on the popular platform in which he shared Warren’s story and launched an emotional effort to retire him.

The video did over 2 million views on social media, which led to the creation of a GoFundMe entry to raise money.
Within a minimal period of time, less than 20 daysgathered 108,000 dollars for Marion, which were given him in the form of a large check last Wednesday.
“I wanted to help this man live out his remaining years traveling to see his children in Florida. We took him out of the workplace where he was in for over 8 hours every day so that he could do the things he would like to do and couldn’t because of financial reasons.”
“I feel like I’ve been reborn,” Marion, 82, told WTTG-TV.
