The prosecutors of the Italian city of Brescia decided a while ago that the Silvia Panzerihis daughter Antonio Panzeri, must be extradited to Belgium, as requested by the Belgian authorities. Her defense attorneys are likely to appeal the decision, within the next five days, at the Supreme Court of Italy. They have already followed the same path, as regards the decision taken in Brescia, in favor of the extradition of Antonio Pantzeri’s wife, Maria Dolores Colleoni, to Belgium.
As far as Silvia Panzeri is concerned, Brescia prosecutors considered that the rules of European Human Rights Treaty Rightswhich had been disputed by her lawyers, who had referred to an “overcrowding” problem in Belgian prisons.
