Video showing wild wood in a Scottish schoolroom has shocked the country. There was, in fact, a reaction from the country’s prime minister, Nicola Sturgeon, on the matter.

The wild episode took place last Monday at Waid Academy.
Thank you @willie_rennie for raising the horrific violence seen at @WaidAcademy recently at #FMQs. @nicolasturgeon @ScotGovFM said she wanted to see the video. Here it is. pic.twitter.com/7sVftAXUXK

The parents of the student who launched the vicious attack told The Courier that their daughter lashed out in this way after she had been the victim of bullying which the school was aware of, but without any kind of intervention.
The release of the video also sparked a political backlash with MPs questioning Scottish Prime Minister Nicola Sturgeon about what she intends to do about such incidents of violence.
The First Minister of Scotland initially claimed that she had not seen the video in question and then added that “violence is never tolerated and protecting students and teachers is a priority”.
