Names that refer to her songs Taylor Swift animal shelter officials in Tennessee, USA, gave to four puppies in their care, after the singer’s “generous” donation to the dog care center.

The Williamson County Animal Center announced the news in a Facebook post revealing that the four adoptable dogs are named ‘Bejeweled’ ‘Midnight Rain’, ‘Carolina’ and ‘Willow’. The first two names are from songs included on Taylor Swift’s 2022 album ‘Midnights’ and the other two from the ‘Where The Crawdads Sing’ soundtrack and the ‘evermore’ album, respectively.

“We recently received a generous donation from legendary singer-songwriter Taylor Swift,” the post reads. “While all Swifties know that the singer loves cats, we hope she doesn’t mind that we gave the adoptable pups names from her song titles. All the female puppies are only three months old, have black and white fur and are mixed breed,” it is clarified.

Last month, the song ‘Carolina’ was shortlisted for this year’s Oscars for Best Original Song. The Jack Antonoff-produced “Bejewelled,” meanwhile, was accompanied by both an instrumental version and a music video featuring actress Laura Dern
