This is the 10th package of sanctions that is on the way, as reported by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, who is in Ukraine
The European Union’s next package of sanctions against Russia, the tenth in a row, will hit trade and technology used in the war against Ukraine, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Friday.
“Our 9 sanctions packages are already in place and a 10th is on the way. With our partners, we must deny Russia the means to kill Ukrainian civilians and destroy homes and offices,” von der Leyen said in a tweet.
“New measures will hit trade and technology that supports Russia’s war machine,” it says.
