The human mind cannot comprehend the destruction caused by the war in Turkey and Syria last Monday. The dead have reached 9,655 and are constantly increasing.
In addition to the nearly 10,000 deaths that capture a part of the drama, which is constantly growing, the satellite photos depicting the before and after the earthquake in neighborhoods of Turkey, also show the enormity of the tragedy.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced on Tuesday that a three-month state of emergency had been declared in the 10 provinces worst hit by the deadly earthquakes.

According to the Associated Press, Tatar said AFAD had received 11,342 reports of collapsed buildings, but only 5,775 of those reports had been confirmed.
About 55 helicopters had made 154 sorties to transport emergency aid and about 85 trucks were distributing food, he said. “Adverse weather conditions continue in the region. Hence, from time to time it may be difficult to transport these search and rescue teams to the area,” he added.
