Arrangements for a charity concert in order to strengthen Ukrainian citizens, reveals the Sun.

It will be a concert on the standards of the historic Live Aidwhich had been organized in the same London stadium for famine-stricken Ethiopia in 1985.

The British newspaper writes that the concert is planned for June 24, with the most famous names of the rock and pop music scene having been approached to take part.

These include U2, The Rolling Stones, The Killers, Pink, who are said to have already been asked to take part, with invitations also likely to go out to Sir Paul McCartney, Adele, Florence and the Machine and to Noel Gallagher.

A newspaper source states that “it will be a huge event” that will be televised around the world.

As the same source added, “It’s something we’ve wanted to do for a long time, but now a date has been found and Wembley Stadium is booked – invitations to take part are going out big and fast to the biggest names in the field.”

The assessment of would-be organizers is that an event of this size could even increase political pressure on Putin.

Among the challenges facing the organization is that at the same time the big and most popular annual Glastonbury festival will be going on, in which big rock and pop stars, such as Sir Elton John, the Arctic Monkeys and Guns n’ Roses, have already committed themselves .

Among the organizers is the well-known artistic event company Livewire Pictures.
