Republicans protest bill on sexual orientation and identity of underage students after deadly shooting at Christian school in Nashville
A new period of riots has caused on USA the trans attack that left seven dead at a Christian school in Nashville; Activists stormed the Kentucky state capitol on Thursday to protest a GOP-promoted ban on sexual orientation and gender identity instruction for underage students.
The invasion of Capitol of Kentucky resulted in the activation of the patrol, which proceeded to arrest 19 individuals
“The Sergeant-at-Arms has asked the KSP to help restore order today in the gallery rooms of the House. KSP gave each person the option to leave without any enforcement action or be taken into custody,” the spokesperson said. “KSP arrested 19 people. They have been charged with trespassing in the 3rd degree.”
The bill being pushed would ban instruction about sexual orientation and gender identity in schools and empower teachers to refuse to use a student’s identifying pronoun.
