According to New York Post sources Donald Trump was ‘talking in secret’ with the former senior adviser Kellyanne Conway to have her join the team for the 2024 campaign, with it unclear if Conway is ready to sign up.

Those in the know say that the Trump has attracted her Conwaycurrent contributor to Fox News, the latter 18 months. In particular, one source said:He credits her with helping him win last time» in 2016.

Another source confirmed that Trump had been in contact with Conway, saying: “She has always been so appreciative and understood the value she brought to 2016. Without her, it wouldn’t have happenedi”.

The same source added that Trump may want to keep Conway — who once chaired a political action committee for Ted Cruz — away from other candidateslike the governor of Florida Ron DeSandiswhich is the assumed opponent of Trump in the race for his anointing Republican Party.

“She was a formidable opponent (with Cruz) and (Trump) might want to lock her up and make sure she doesn’t go to DeSandis“, the source said.

“Kellyanne has a great relationship with President Trump and his team… But she would be crazy to commit to a unique opportunity right now. She’s busier than ever with a long roster of political, corporate and media clients, not to mention offers from 2024 players and a big Fox News contract — which we hear runs through next year and could extend the next months“, the source said.
