Explosion in chemical plant in China caused the death of 9 people, while another was injured and another is reported missing, the official Xinhua news agency reported today.
The explosion occurred on Monday morning at a hydrogen peroxide factory in Liaocheng City, East China’s Shandong Province, according to the official media.

The only person injured in this accident was rushed to the hospital, while the fire caused by the explosion was extinguished, Xinhua said.
The plant in question is managed by Luxi Chemical Group, a member of the Chinese public consortium Sinochem.
