“I had prepared an article for the next issue of the Economist. I am withdrawing my article,” Cavusoglu said
Suddenly he appeared Mevlut Cavusoglu with the Economist. The British magazine published a scathing article about Recep Tayyip Erdogan ahead of the May 14 elections in Turkey, stressing that he must lose and leave power.
“They are trying to intervene inside Turkey. I had prepared an article for the next issue of the Economist. I am withdrawing my article. We have no business with those who interfere in Turkey’s internal affairs» said the Turkish foreign minister according to SKAI’s Istanbul correspondent Manolis Kostidis.
“Our people will give them the appropriate answer on May 14” Cavusoglu added.
As the article in the magazine emphasizes, among other things, his departure will bring many good things to the country and improve its relations with the West, as well as its neighbors, such as Greece.
Also, the same article deifies Turkey’s opposition leader and No. 1 rival Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Kemal Kilicdaroglu and mentioned that he can change the country if he wins the elections.
“We won’t allow it to direct our internal policy and to influence the national will by the covers of magazines, which constitute the operational mechanism of world powers” responded Tayyip ErdoÄŸan angrily in a message on Twitter.
