A video from the trial of former US President Joe Biden in the context of the civil trial against him for the rape of the former American journalist, E. Jean Carroll, was released by the New York court.
The roughly 48-minute video shows Trump, 76, mistaking columnist Jean Carroll for his ex-wife Marla Maples in a photo.
It also shows him repeating his denial of Jean Carroll’s claims by claiming that she is “not my type”.
The video of his testimony, recorded last October, was shown to jurors last Thursday and was released to the public for the first time today, Friday at the request of media organizations.
During the testimony, the leaked Access Hollywood tape published by the Washington Post during his 2016 presidential campaign is played. Then, the video shows Trump shifting uncomfortably in his seat as he is heard to he says “you can do anything” to women “when you’re a star”.
