He was arrested truck driver Monday night when his vehicle crashed into security bars on the north side of Washington’s Lafayette Square, just feet from the White House, a Secret Service spokesman said.

“There were no injuries to members of the agency or White House staff, and the cause and manner of the crash are under investigation,” Secret Service communications director Anthony Guglielmi said on Twitter.

Streets and pedestrian streets in the square it was decided to closen, according to the security service of the American president and leading American politicians.
