Several houses were damaged, while there were interruptions in the electricity and natural gas supply in the Kursk region of Russia, which is located near the border with Ukraine, after Ukrainian shelling, the governor of the region announced today.

Nine houses were damaged, while electricity and natural gas were cut off in the village of Tiorkino, Roman Starovoit noted on his Telegram account. Two other houses caught fire.

In the village of Glushkovo, several houses were damaged, Starovoit added. There are currently no reports of casualties.

Meanwhile, a fire broke out early this morning at a refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar region, RBK reported, citing local authorities.

The fire has been contained, although its cause is currently unknown.
