They are feverish and anxious investigations to locate the small tourist submarine Titan that disappeared with a crew of five on Sunday while diving on its wreck Titanicin the Atlantic Ocean.

The Coast Guard of the US and Canada is continuing with ships and aircraft to search for the submarine in an area about 1,450 kilometers east of Cape Cod, in the northeastern part of the US, and at a depth of about 4,000 meters.

Pessimistic scenarios – What might have happened

As the hours pass, the scenarios for the Titan and its 5 passengers are not optimistic, although in theory it has oxygen to be able to stay under the sea for up to 96 hours.

But “if the passengers panic and start to be very active in the cabin, the oxygen will run out much faster,” Frank Owen, former director of the Australian Search and Rescue team, told the BBC.

According to ocean researcher Robert Blasiak, if the submarine has fallen to the bottom of the ocean the conditions will be difficult as the pressure of the atmosphere will be about 380 times more than at the surface.

Also, even if the submarine had drifted away but was floating on the surface of the sea, unfortunately no one he can’t go outwhile there is no backup means of rescue.
