A 17 year old car driver killed in Nanterre, in suburbs of Parisfrom policeman who used his gun.

A video posted on social media shows the vehicle stopped and two police officers standing at the front window, one of them pointing his gun at the driver.

When the driver steps on the gas and tries to escape, one of the two police officers shoots the 17-year-old in the chest.

The French police authorities speak of “refusal of compliance” on the part of the victim. However, a lawyer for the victim’s family announced that they will take legal action against the two police officers on the charge of intentional homicide. According to the lawyer, the refusal to comply does not justify the use of a weapon by a police officer.
