Ukrainian troops have 30 to 45 days before winter weather complicates the counteroffensive they launched in early June, the head of the US National Defense Staff, General Mark Milley, estimates.
It is “a long time yet,” General Milley said during an interview with the BBC published yesterday Sunday.
The Ukrainian military is making steady progress and has maintained significant fighting strength, according to the top US officer. The battle is not over, General Milley added.
