Sir Keir Starmer’s main opposition Labor Party takes 44% in vote intention, losing three percentage points

Labor maintains a lead of 16 points at Britain against the ruling Conservatives, according to new poll of Deltapoll.
This difference, although large, is nevertheless reduced by eight points compared to two weeks earlier.
In particular, Sir Keir Starmer’s main opposition Labor Party takes 44% in the vote intention, losing three percentage points.
His Tories Rishi Sunak they increase by five points, reaching 28%.
The poll was conducted from last Friday until Monday, i.e. it captures the views of the citizens on Mr. Sunak’s new environmental policy.
The British prime minister appears to be winning over a share of citizens who agree with his decision to postpone or cancel some of the measures and targets on the way to achieving zero emissions by 2050.
At the same time, as pointed out by pollsters at an event of the Tony Blair Institute, the rather large reduction in the margin shows once again that voters are not completely convinced of Keir Starmer’s leadership abilities.
The next election will be held no later than January 2025, although in recent weeks a debate has opened among political analysts about the possibility of early elections in the spring or fall of 2024.
