The element that “betrayed” him
The twisted, criminal activity of 51-year-old Adam Robert Corden Brittonwho tortured and sexually abused more than 42 dogs between 2014 and last April, when arrested in Australiahas caused a global shock.
The distinguished zoologist he turned out to be a barbaric herdsman and sadistic killer of animalswho in fact he was also uploading related videos to the dark web.
According to a DailyMail report, the 51-year-old was uploading videos of himself abusing dogs on perverted forums on the Telegram platform, even using two different accounts with the pseudonyms “Monster” (“Monster”) and “Cerberus” (“Cerberus”).
It was through these accounts that he got in touchfrom 2020 until his arrest in 2022, with other perverted people in which he sent videos and photos he had taken himself in the “torture room” where he abused – often to death – the dogs.
On one of these sites in March 2022 he posted a video called “1B***h9Pups”, which revealed a clue to his identity and whereabouts that ultimately led to his arrest.
The next day, on March 23, an anonymous netizen noticed that the female dog pictured in the video was wearing one orange leash of an animal welfare company of the city of Darwin, in the Northern Territory of Australia, with the slogan “great pets start with you” printed on it.
The user emailed the video to the local animal control agency, which then notified the local police.
The tangle began to unravel and on April 22 the police raided to the zoologist’s house, where they found and seized the gruesome evidence of his crimes.
Except digital material on cellphones and computers, the authorities still found instruments of torture and sexual aids that Britton used on the unfortunate animals, severed dog limbs in a freezer, a decomposing dead puppy in a nearby pond, and a severed dog head dumped on a neighboring property.
Britton was arrested in April 2022, he confessed to his crimes and has remained in custody ever since. His sentence will be announced on December 13
