“Those in and around the Kremlin will have nowhere to hide,” Liz Tras told Ukrainian

by

The representative of the United Kingdom Liz Tras stated, in UN Security Council, that Britain is considering further deployment of an army to secure and protect NATO allies.

He also said that London would consider supplying NATO with more “Fast jets, warships and military”.

“The United Kingdom is determined to take the lead through deterrence and diplomacy”, he stressed.

He further added that the United Kingdom was “preparing an unprecedented package of coordinated sanctions”. Trash says any invasion of Ukraine would have “huge consequences for Russia’s interests and economy.”

“Today, I declare our readiness to act,” he said, adding that the government was proposing new legislation to impose sanctions on a “much wider” number of people and businesses linked to the Kremlin.

“Those in and around the Kremlin will have nowhere to hide,” he added.

This latest comment provoked laughter in parliament, most likely because London has the nickname “Londograd” as it has been used as a location to hold and spend money by Russian oligarchs.

In closing, Tra said the government would not immediately say to whom it intends to impose sanctions.
