Airlines continue to cancel flights to Israel
China’s Hainan Airlines announced the cancellation of scheduled flights from Shanghai to Tel Aviv today, the Global Times newspaper reported, citing the carrier.
Hainan Airlines regularly operates three direct flights connecting China and Israel.
Alongside Cathay Pacific, which had already announced the cancellation of the flight from Hong Kong to Tel Aviv tomorrow on Tuesday, announced that there would be an update on its next scheduled flight on Thursday.
THE Korean Air for its part, it canceled a direct flight that was scheduled to take place today from Incheon to Tel Aviv and added that it expects the schedule to face problems in the near future.
Other international airlines also announced they were canceling flights after the Hamas attack on Israel on Saturday that killed more than 700 and the Israeli retaliation, strikes on the Gaza Strip that killed more than 400. Among them were the US United Airlines, Delta Air Lines and American Airlines and the French national carrier, Air France.
