End of alert for northern Israel. Israeli Defense Force (IDF) spokesman Vice Admiral Daniel Hagari announced that there was no “no security incident” in the North, adding that the military is investigating what triggered the alert in northern Israel earlier in the afternoon.

The Israeli army announced that no drone penetrated on Israeli soil, after the entire north was put on alert. The IDF spokesman attributed the sirens to possible “damage”. “There was no incident in the north, the alarm may be due to a failure” of the system, the military said.

The IDF characteristically announced on X that “The people of Israel live” (Am Israel Chai) signaling the end of the alert.

Israelis across the northern part of the country were earlier ordered to go to shelters due to of a large-scale drone strike which came from the direction of the northern border.

Shortly after the attack began, reports were received of terrorists in paragliders landing in northern Israel. Rocket alerts sounded across northern Israel, including Haifa. The armed wing of Hamas, the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, claimed to have fired a missile at Haifa amid the attack.

Also, terrorist infiltration alerts were simultaneously sent to areas of northern Israel. A short time later, the alarm was called off. Returning to the southern front, Hagari reported that five Palestinian gunmen were spotted near Zikim earlier today. Three were killed in a clash with the Israeli army, while two others fled. Hamas gunmen are wanted.

Hagari also announced that the IDF continued to carry out strikes in the Gaza Strip against “terrorist areas” today. The military targets all Hamas infrastructure.
